Not judging, just telling you what God said believe Him or NOT!

For those who seem to be confused about what judging is, let me tell
you. Telling people what the Holy Bible says, whether you like it or not,
is not judging. If I had quoted from the book of Pamela then you would
have a right to say I was judging.
It's funny, how with subjects like homosexuality, or any sin for that matter,
quoting the part of the Bible which says God is love is OK and everyone
believes it, holds hands and sings Kum Ba Yah. But, when I quote THE
BIBLE which also says God hates sin, sins that are listed in the Bible,
then I'm being judgmental. Me quoting the Holy Bible is not hateful, it's
truthful. God does hate sin, which is clearly, WITHOUT CONFUSION,
defined in the Bible. READ IT!!! Romans 1 is just one place.
Just like those who do and believe what they like, sin or not, I have the
right to believe the Bible is the Unadulterated Word of God, whom I serve.
Actually, if you think about it, some of the things people write to me could
be considered hateful, judgmental, stupid and ignorant, some of the things
I've been described as. Regardless of whether you're right and I'm wrong
or the Bible is right and every man is a liar, we all have a right to believe
what we want. It's called free will, that thing God gave us to believe His
Word or Not. I just happen to believe homosexuality is a SIN and if I didn't
trust God, I'd be fearful where the next natural disaster will happen
considering the blatant disobedience by a state who has turned its back
on Almighty God.

Pamela, I note that you refused to post my comment. Do you post any comments, or just those that are contrary to your particular point of view. You're right, we are all entitled to our own interpretation of the Bible. I believe that one must look at the historical context. Moreover, the King James Bible went through numerous changes, and the earliest versions of the Bible were annotated by the authors saying that they were unsure as to the appropriate translations from the Hebrew or Greek. Moreover, your quoting 1 Romans is interesting. You'll also note that Romans 2 begins with "Therefore, [referring to Romans 1], you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself..." Even after he describes the disturbing practices he has seen, Paul warns us that judging others is God's business, not ours. Moreover, how do you reconcile the other parts of, say, Leviticuis (shellfish, poly-cotton blends, pork?). In any event, I do believe you have the right to your own views, although I think you're wrong.
Best regards,
Bob Conti

I have waited a long time to write this. You are driven by hate. I have rarely detected much love in your columns.I have followed your "journalism career" since you started at the Press Telegram. You are the one who has turned your back on god by fomenting hatred and violence toward your fellow man. You clearly pick and choose what parts of the Bible you want to emphasize. I think you need to go back and read the New Testament and JESUS' actual words. Do you speak any of the languages the Bible was written in? Didn't think so. As the other letter writer notes, you surely do not follow all the laws listed in Leviticus. You use your religion to hide behind. You are a bigot. Plain and simple. I call out the the demon that is so clearly possessing you,in the name GOD! I hope you eventually find peace. Be careful that the traps and violence you are wishing on others does not ensnare you!

Pamela Hale,

I want to thank you for not comprimising the truth. God's word is true today and forever.Be encouraged.

Your words and behavior speak for themselves. You are no better than any other sinner. You are not an expert on the Bible and your interpretation is not any better than anyone else's. God does not hate...period! You hate! Don't make your sin about God. God is LOVE, it's all over the New Testament, read it. Take the plank out of your own eye before going after the speck in others' eyes, Judge not, lest ye be judged, sound familiar? You ARE judging, own it. Pharisees, sound familiar? Again, I call the demon of hatred out of you, in GOD's name!
